We have seven exceptional speakers taking you on a journey from Corruption prevention awareness to ACTION, with advice, examples and how to take that awesome step of reducing the risk of corruption in your workplace.
Lately there have been too many media reports of alleged corruption at all levels of management within an assortment of entities, both government and corporate enterprises.
Alleged Contract rorts, nepotism, conflicts of interest, blatant misuse of employer equipment for personal use, time keeping fiddling just to name a few examples that are occurring daily.
What would you do if you encounter an apparent breach of work ethics, a conflict of interest, little bit of pilfering, someone “cooking the books”, maladministration, or you suspect something just isn’t right? Do you blow the whistle or keep your head down and just get on with your own job. Who investigates, is it better to conduct an internal or external enquiry, and what result is desired or achieved? Our speakers will delve into why we think the way we think when we encounter an apparent “misdeed”. Examples of how some corrupt people manipulate the system to obtain a personal advantage either $$$ or position or influence will be covered to expose their methods of manipulation.
